Trinity

The Bible says there is only one God, but at the same time, it also says the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirits are God. Because God is one yet three, we say He is triune, and we refer to Him as the Trinity.

There is only one God:
"I am the first and I am the last; apart from me there is no God." - Isaiah 44:6

The Father is God:

"Father...Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent." - John 17:1,3

The Son is God:

"But about the Son he says, 'Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever, and righteousness will be the scepter of your kingdom. You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions by anointing you with the oil of joy.' He also says, 'In the beginning, O Lord, you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands. They will perish, but you remain; they will all wear out like a garment. You will roll them up like a robe; like a garment they will be changed. But you remain the same, and your years will never end.กจ" - Hebrews 1:8-12

The Holy Spirit is God:

"Then Peter said, 'Ananias, how is it that Satan has so filled your heart that you have lied to the Holy Spirit and have kept for yourself some of the money you received for the land? Didn't it belong to you before it was sold? And after it was sold, wasn't the money at your disposal? What made you think of doing such a thing? You have not lied to men but to God.' " - Acts 5:3-4

God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are one:

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit" - Matthew 28:19
(note: notice that the word "name" is singular)

"May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all." - 2 Corinthians 13:14

The Son is the Heir:

"but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe." - Hebrews 1:2

"I will proclaim the decree of the LORD: He said to me, 'You are my Son; today I have become your Father. Ask of me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession.' " - Psalm 2:7-8
